In this assignment we are going to modify our web application to demonstrate the power of CSS styling.
First, go to the github repository that you previously set up and create a new file called css_demo.html
Paste the contents of this sample file (css_demo.html) obtained from www.w3schools.com into your css_demo.html file on github. Then "commit" your changes:
Now, in your existing index.html, add a link at the top of the page to the css_demo.html file that you just created. Then commit index.html. Here's a screencast of how to do that:
Now navigate to Heroku and open up your application and demonstrate that you can get to the new page. Try switching style sheets by clicking on the style sheet buttons.
When you do this, what the webpage is doing is keeping the HTML the same, but changing which internal style sheet is being applied to the HTML document. Amazing how different the same HTML can be presented isn't it?
Here is what it looks like when you have successfully accomplished this:
When you have successfully added a hyperlink to your application that leads to the css demo, turn in your URL below so that we can test it.
